In a world where Saturday morning cartoons are a thing of the past, why say goodbye just now? As we were getting ready in the morning, the hotelmates decided to put on Hulu and played the latest episode of Sailor Moon Crystal - as far as I know it was Sailor Venus doing some plot exposition. We had Utena playing the background shortly after. Once the team got ready for the day, it was time to explore what Saturday had to offer.

Cosplay Death Match by Scarlet
Cosplay Death Match never fails to bring a crowd. The way this cosplay game is played is that you bring in two cosplayers and the audience decides who lives and who dies. You end up getting some awesome battles between unlikely competitors. The characters that stood out the most were Maes Hughes from Full Metal Alchemist and Link with a bunch of cluckos surrounding him. There were some Fire Emblem cosplayers that looked pretty impressive. Overall, a fun a event to be a spectator for. It's always amusing seeing the "dead" players act like zombies to feast of the newly departed as they are escorted off stage. This is not one to miss!

Glenntai & Kentai’s Tea Tai-m by Jared
The Nerdfit Network once again set up a morning tea for the convention. It featured several flavors and many different snacks to help energize everyone in the morning. It was a nice way to wake up with some good food and nice music. Much like last year it was a nice way to start our Saturday and we are looking forward to hitting it next year.

Dealer Hall by Scarlet
The dealer hall for Another Anime Con is more like a huge artist alley. Not that it's a bad thing, it gives artists a higher chance to shine and sell their wares. What I like about the artist alley showcase in New England is that everyone sells something different. Other than typical prints, we also see glassware, jewelry, custom ponies, buttons, patches, clothing, and original comics. I really did like browsing around and seeing what was new. There were very few merchants - if you were into collecting manga - particularly any of the discountinued Tokyo Pop titles - there were two booths selling some titles from the 2000s. There were a few figure sellers - one booth even had Love Live figures, but overall, it was nice to browse around the large artist alley.

Writing about Ghosts by Jared
One of the advangtes of having authors as guests is that they can discuss topics they have written about and help up and coming writers. The discussion about ghosts and paranormal things covered different views on the subject, strange things that happened to the author over the years, and how to use ghosts to tell a better story. It was a mix of story time and workshop making this a panel that both writers and those interested in the paranormal can enjoy.

Hetalia Host Club by Li Mei
The Hetalia Host Club was a fun panel with great attendance, and of course, surprises. At the beginning of this panel, the panelists announced that the Hetalia Host Club will become a Hetalia Ask-a-Nation panel due to previous Hetalia panels bailing. Ask-a-Nation is a panel that appears at almost every con I've been to, so I'm happy that a form of Ask-a-Nation still took place at AAC. What makes Ask-a-Nation so fun is the dynamic between question-askers and question-responders; there are so many things that can happen. Hetalia cosplayers in the audience can ask the panelists questions in-character, which can lead to lots of cool interactions. But cosplayers from other fandoms can ask the panelists questions in-character, which leads to cool crossovers. And of course, non-cosplayers can ask questions, and this provides another plane for fun questions. There was a total of 9 panelists, so there were plenty of characters to direct questions to. Halfway through the panel, Prussia gave out lollipops to audience members who asked questions... and who doesn't love lollipops? No wonder there was a steady line of questions! Here is a summary of some of the best moments during this panel:

- A chibitalia cosplayer asked France what happened to Holy Roman Empire, and everyone in the audience went "awwww." Cue the feels.

- An audience member brought up the Death Note, and apparently, the Death Note does not work on countries. The Death Note only targets humans, after all.

- This panel was PG, but there were moments of extreme subtext... and of course, pushing against the boundaries. A girl asked how babies are made, and after England's reminder to keep it PG, France told her that he can show her later tonight.

- Someone asked a really cute question to Belgium: What would you put on waffles for the other nations? She gave really cute and amusing answers.

- And there were some PruCan moments, which made me happy.
