In 2000, the voice acting community had it's share of anime productions. With Erynne Waltman's Deliver Us From Evil audio drama, original radio plays were welcomed in the community. With a flux of the same mythological stories about fictitious worlds, Victoria Erica thought something new, something with some original flavor should be a part of the online radio drama community. A story about the disillusions of the late 1960s was proposed on several message boards. The production started in Summer 2000 and ended in the Fall of 2001. Ever since, Butterfly Maiden received rave reviews by amateur voice actors and producers alike. Butterfly Maiden has escalated into a favorite by the voice acting community.
