Convention Reports
Scarlet Rhapsody’s convention reports have always been the main staple of the webzine. It all started out during Anime Expo 1999 when a 16-year-old Victoria loved her first time at an anime convention, she had to write down everything that went on. She wanted a space to jot down all of her conventions memories. Originally a blog under the title “Traveling,” (based after the Hikaru Utada song), the reports focused events, cosplay photos, and an overall review of the convention. In 2005, Scarlet Rhapsody (then known as “Traveling Valentine”) took a much more journalistic approach to covering anime conventions.
Our convention reports provide an honest and insider’s look at various anime and comic book conventions.
